Hi there,

Firstly, thanks to everyone who took the time to reply to the last newsletter to confirm receipt. I did not realise how many people had signed up already and was somewhat overwhelmed by the number of responses. To those who added a little more than the suggested two word: "Got it!", I am v grateful for your thoughts. I apologise for not getting back to you. I sent the newsletter on Monday morning, then had four very full-on (and enjoyable) days presenting at Times Radio before spending Friday doing some early interviews for the next episode of BBC Radio 4's The Great Post Office Trial. I am still catching up on my correspondence.

One moment on Times Radio may be of interest - an interview I conducted with Connie Shaw from Leeds Student Radio, Ben Jones from the Free Speech Union and Ben Smoke from Huck magazine. You should have received the blog post about this already. If you missed it, this is the link.

The Great Post Office Cover-Up

My main reason for writing is to tell you that I have agreed to write another Post Office book which I hope will be published shortly after the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry reports next year. This will necessarily impact on the amount of work I can do on gender in the early part of 2025, but I hope to continue reading, researching and publishing material as and when I can.

Once I have put the Post Office book to bed I am determined to turn as much of my attention to the gender wars as possible. Next year the UK Supreme Court decision on For Women Scotland vs Scottish Ministers is due, Giggle vs Tickle: the rematch may come to court in Australia, and the US Supreme Court will have its say on gender-affirming "care" for minors in US vs Skirmetti. Round the world we are seeing robust legal challenges to gender ideology and the extraordinary restrictions on free speech it demands.

Speaking of Australia, I have started reading the Deeming vs Pesutto judgment. This ruling demonstrates how gender ideology (and a captured media), can rot the brains of some politicians to such a degree they engage in stupid, malign, self-defeating behaviour. Congratulations to the brave and principled Moira Deeming for sticking to reality, and telling the truth.

Have a good week.

Nick
