Donate

The panel on the right (or below if you’re reading this on a mobile phone) is a secure portal set up to accept one-off or regular donations for my work. The regular donation option is new. I’ve realised that when working on stories which take some time to get over the line, it helps to be able to plan ahead financially, which is impossible with one-off donations.

Whichever method or amount you choose to donate, you will be subscribed to the GenderBlog newsletter. This is an irregular email giving you an insight into my activities around this subject. Your subscription will also fund free-at-the-point-of-consumption blog posts on this site.

If you decide to make a regular monthly donation, you will be sent an email containing instructions for managing, changing or cancelling your donation. You will be asked to set up a password for your donation account when logging in for the first time.

If the link expires before you set up your password, or you miss the email completely, you can log in by clicking on this link and choosing the “Forgot Password?” option. Regular donors will be warned in advance of each monthly donation taken from their card.

Donations can be stopped at any time and you will still remain subscribed to the newsletters like one-off donors. Why keep donating? Well – the more regular donors I get, the more work I can do.

Unfortunately I am unable to guarantee a minimum amount of work in return for your donation, but I have a track record going back to 2018 of producing half-decent journalism in exchange for crowdfunded donations. I will use the money raised to produce useful and informative newsletters and continue to update this website as often as possible. If you can afford to make a small (or large!) regular donation, I promise that money will be put to good use. If you are at all unsure about this arrangement, or have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the Contact page of this website..

Thanks.
